Heewoo is a Korean American who has lived in five different countries.  He loves playing badminton and hiking, but his passion lies in studying and preaching the word of God and seeing people grow in Him.

Director of Youth Ministry

Rhoda was born in Boston but moved to Hong Kong with her missionary parents when she was five.  She received her M.Div from Gateway Seminary in 2018.  Rhoda is a huge nerd and loves video games, comic books, and playing all sorts of instruments.

Director of Mission, Music, and Filipino Ministries 

Ariel comes from Philippines.  He worked at Calvary Chapel Bible College, Dumaguete for almost 3 years after graduating from it.  He’s passionate about sharing the gospel and leading worship. He’s married to Immalyn who has the same heart of reaching the lost.

Flo was born in Hong Kong and did most of her schooling in Australia. From a young age, she was sure of God’s love for her and wants others, especially kids, to have this certainty. Flo has served in children’s ministry in various capacities since she was a teen. Professionally, she was trained as a lawyer in Australia and has also worked as a kindergarten teacher in China. She is married to the ever-patient Martin and has two fun and active boys in primary school.

Director of Community Life

Shau-Wai was born and raised in the UK. She became a Christian at age 15 and has served in a Chinese Church in Wales mainly in youth work. She loves to get people together, have fun, share the gospel and encourage believers in their walk with Christ. Shau-Wai is seeking ways in which Shatin Church can serve one another and the people of Hong Kong.

Administrator

Candy became a Christian in her teenage years, since then she has enjoyed serving the Lord in facilitating various ministries. She was raised local but has recently returned after several years in the US. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, hiking, and playing music.

Rev. Nick Seward

Nick is a CS Lewis scholar, head of a Christian school, as well as an ordained Anglican minister.  You will see him leading the service or preaching occasionally at the church!
